Who We Are

Greensward LLC was founded in 2008 with the aim of providing fine landscape design, construction, and maintenance services to discerning clients within an hour drive of our office in Culpeper, Va.  We have grown from the owner being both designer and builder, to having a team of designers, multiple crews, and a network of other craftsmen that collaborate to build fine landscapes.

Construction projects are disruptive and can be stressful for you the client.  We understand what it’s like, as a homeowner, to make a significant investment and desire that it exceeds expectations.  We know that good communication is vital to your peace of mind and to the outcome of the project.  To that end, we strive to make it a pleasant, enjoyable, and rewarding process from the design meetings to the final walk through.

Our Design Philosophy

We exist to create design that promotes the well being and enjoyment of our clients.  Our core belief is that good design will respect the existing architecture, the land, and the environment.  We strive to create spaces that are beautiful, harmonious, and timeless.  To that end we like to use fine materials that will stand the test of time.  We stress integrity in our construction methods and warranty our work because we believe in our work.
